We are looking for Field Service Technicians who would like to join our Southeast US team. Ideal candidate is self-driven to learn new mechanical and electrical skills and a great communicator with end users.
Our team will provide you with years of experience. We have engineering support, experienced service managers and talented co-workers to help you develop your skills.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for repairing and maintaining refrigeration equipment for industrial refrigeration systems in the food and beverage, cold storage and other refrigerated spaces.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues on ammonia and freon refrigeration systems. We work on ammonia screw and reciprocating compressors as well as Freon semi-hermetic compressors. As well as evaporator, condensers, water/glycol chillers, purgers, etc.
- Troubleshoot and install electrical components such as control panels and ammonia sensors. Strong knowledge of a voltage and amp meter required.
- Expected to complete work safely and cleanup work areas daily.
- Must be able to work efficiently with little or no supervision.
- Must be able to communicate verbally and written with customers on digital reports.
- RETA certifications a plus
- EPA card required
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years work experience in ammonia refrigeration or mechanical field work.
- Valid Driver's license and a safe driving record
- Dependable truck capable of pulling 7,500 lbs trailer.
- Pass a physical examination and fit test for ammonia mask
- Required to climb ladders regularly.
- Required to be on call nights and/or weekends as required
